Portland, Ore.-based company named ninth nationally and 37th worldwide on recently released Common Sense Advisory report

PORTLAND, Ore. (July 14, 2015) – Based on a recently released 2015 Common Sense Advisory (CSA) study, Certified Languages International (CLI) ranks ninth nationally – and 37th internationally – among leading language service companies. The CSA surveyed 860 providers around the world to find the leading suppliers in the global and regional markets for language services and technology.

In 2014, CSA ranked CLI as 10th nationally and 44th globally, surveying 831 total language service providers.

According to a recent study by the Migration Policy Institute, the number of individuals considered Limited English Proficient (LEP) has grown 80 percent from 1990 to 2013, representing eight percent of the total U.S. population. LEP refers to any individual over the age of five that does not speak English well, as classified by the U.S. Census Bureau.  

With such a large portion of the population requiring language assistance, the need for qualified and technologically advanced interpretation companies is rising.
