American Translators Association
American Translators Association is a professional association founded to advance the translation and interpreting professions and foster the professional development of individual translators and interpreters.

Association of Language Companies
CLI is a founding member of the Association of Language Companies. It is a national trade association representing businesses that provide translation and interpretation services, and well as localization and language training services.

National Coalition on Health Care Interpreter Certification
CLI is a member of the National Coalition on Health Care Interpreter Certification. The coalition’s 17 members are developing certification and accreditation processes for the medical translating and interpretation industry.

Department of Health & Human Services
CLI is compliant with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) in all interpretation and translation proceedings involving the protection and privacy of health and medical data. HIPAA is managed by the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services.

U.S. Department of Commerce
CLI is Safe Harbor Certified, meeting the Principles of Notice, Choice, Onward Transfer, Security, Data Integrity, Access and Enforcement developed by the U.S. Department of Commerce and the European Commission Directive on Data Protection. CLI is registered with the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Safe Harbor Program.

Section 508 Compliant
Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, as amended by the Workforce Investment Act, requires Federal agencies make available equal access to electronic and information technology to people with disabilities, including those who may not understand the English language. CLI has served government agencies since 1996, helping them comply with this Act.
